PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide underwear such as shirts giving a wearer comfortable wearing feeling, having excellent sweat absorptivity and dissipation of the absorbed moisture. SOLUTION: The underwear has the following structure: the body side of a gusset part 6 is formed so as to be 2-3 times as wide as the sleeve side of the gusset part 6 based on their center lines, the seamed part of the gusset part 6 is bulged and incurvated deeply into the body side, the gusset part comprises two pieces of fabric sewn up so as to be superposed to each other, the skin-side fabric of these pieces of fabric comprises excellent water-absorbent fabric material, the outer side fabric thereof comprises excellent water-absorbent and moisture dissipative fabric material. At the gasset part 6, a fabric excellently stretchable in the width direction of the gasset and cut along the stretchable direction of the fabric is sewn up on the body side while the doubled fabric of the gasset part 6 is stretched at the bottom of the sleeve when sewing up the armhole of the underwear.
