PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film-formable make-up cosmetic excellent in gloss. SOLUTION: A luminous pigment (1) and acetyl tributyl citrate (2) are incorporated in the film-formable cosmetic. The film-formable make-up cosmetic is suitably exemplified by a nail beantifying cosmetic. The luminous pigment is suitably exemplified by a rare earth-activated boron aluminate. More concretely, it is suitably illustrated by a luminous pigment activated by adding a small amount of europium oxide, dysprosium oxide, calcium oxide, and the like to a complex oxide such as strontium oxide, alumina, and boric acid anhydride. Examples of the film former in such a cosmetic include a nitrocellulose, collodion, a phthalate alkyd resin, an alkyl acrylate polymer, and an alkyl methacrylate polymer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
