<p>The invention relates to a seat for a vehicle, comprising a backrest (1) structure (3) and a seat cushion (2) structure (5). According to the invention, the backrest structure is pushed back and, at the same time, the seat cushion structure (2) is raised slightly in order to transform the seat into a bed, whereby the surfaces of both the collapsed backrest (1) and the seat cushion (2) are aligned horizontally. The aforementioned backrest and seat cushion structures (3, 5) are interconnected by means of a fulcrum pin (10). Moreover, both structures can rotate freely in relation to said pin such that, when the backrest structure (3) is pushed backwards, pressure is applied to the seat cushion structure (5) and said structure is raised, owing to the fact that the front part of said seat cushion is connected to the fixed structure of the seat (6) by means of a rod (7) which is articulated between the structure (5) of the seat cushion (2) and the general fixed structure (6) of the seat.</p> |
