<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of detecting a slight shading distribution from an image including superposed directional noise, a product inspection method for a photoreceptor and a photoreceptor manufacturing method by the detector method, and an apparatus for realizing the methods. <P>SOLUTION: An input device 1 stores optical information on an image into an image storage part 12, a mean value calculation part 13 calculates the mean value of the image from the image data, and arithmetic processing parts 14 and 15 performs noise removal processing in a main scanning (x) direction and a subscanning (y) direction. Arithmetic parameters needed for the noise removal processing are saved in a parameter storage part 16 and an unevenness calculation part 17 calculates unevenness in the image from the image data after the noise removal processing. A photoreceptor quality judgment part 18 judges whether a photoreceptor is normal according to the calculation result and a judgment result display part 19 displays the judgment result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
