<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a centronics interface circuit holdable print data without using any latch circuit and reducible the cost and mounting area. <P>SOLUTION: The input part of a wait signal generating circuit 5 is connected to a wait select output part WS of a strobe signal generating circuit 3, and the output part of the wait signal generating circuit 5 is connected to a wait input terminal W of a CPU 1. When the strobe signal generating circuit 3 outputs a strobe signal ST, the wait signal generating circuit 5 generates a wait signal WA, and outputs it to the wait input terminal W for a fixed time, and a CPU 1 holds print data PD to be outputted for a fixed period based on the wait signal WA. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
