A method of conducting a pictorial ("spot the ball") competition comprises transmitting a picture from a remote location to a unit which comprises a telephone 10, display screen 13 and manual means 12, 14, 15, 16 for entering upon the screen an indication of a position selected thereon; this position is then compared with a predetermined position. The telephone screen 13 may display the picture or image in three dimensional or holographic forms, or as moving images. |
