PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assembling performance at assembling to a vehicle and prevent wrong assembling in a parking mechanism of a transmission for vehicle covered by a cover 6 and a case 7 to which the cover 6 is attached when loaded on the vehicle. SOLUTION: A rod guide 3 is arranged as a positioning member for a parking rod 1 on the cover 6 side, and at a position where a tip end 12 of the parking rod 1 projects toward a sleeve 2 when the cover 6 and the case 7 are assembled at a predetermined position, the parking rod 1 is arranged in the cover 6 in advance.
