PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polymer with which clogging of a nozzle caused in a step of coagulating the polymer can be prevented and the polymer can stably be produced. SOLUTION: The method for producing the polymer comprises coagulating the polymer contained in a polymer latex obtained by an emulsion polymerization method in a coagulation bath 11 with a coagulant and then dehydrating and drying the polymer. In the method, the polymer latex fed through a feed pipe 12 to the coagulation bath 11 is injected from a dipped nozzle 15 connected to the feed pipe 12 into the coagulation bath 11 and water is made to flow from the midway of the feed pipe 12 toward the dipped nozzle 15 when the injection of the polymer latex is stopped.
