A dimensionally-stable dishwasher agent or additive has a penetration number of 200-1000g. Independent claims are also included for (1) production of the agents or additives by mixing a solid, liquid, viscous or molten matrix with conventional actives for dishwasher agents or additives, optionally melting the mixture and casting, extruding, injection molding, calendering or pressing the mixture optionally with cooling to give the desired shaped product; and (2) a kit of parts comprising the above agent or additive and a dosing aid onto whose surface the agent or additive is introduced prior to introduction into the dishwasher.
