PURPOSE: To align easily and accurately plural color separation images picked up through color separation by a color separation optical system independently of mechanical precision such as a position of a recording unit and assembling accuracy of the color separation optical system. CONSTITUTION: A color separation optical system 23 separates incident light from an image pickup optical system 12 into each color components, which is formed on each image forming face. Recording areas 30a-30c of the electronic development type recording medium 30 are arranged respectively to each image forming face, a formed image is developed electronically and stored as an optical image. In the case of pre-marking, light outputted from a light source 51 is split into two collimated rays via a slit 52 and a collimator lens 53 and emitted to respective idle areas of the recording areas 30a-30c via the color separate optical system 23 to conduct pre-marking. |
