PURPOSE: To control an equipment by the operation signals of a pointing device as well by providing a control part capable of outputting control signals for controlling the respective parts of the equipment based on pointer operation signals. CONSTITUTION: In the case of receiving signals by the operation of the pointing device 2, the pointer operation signals are demodulated in a painter decoder 10 and the output is inputted to a third control part 11. Then, in the third control part 11, based on the pointer operation signals, the control signals for controlling the respective parts of the equipment are outputted and a part of an instruction same as the instruction by remote control code signals is executed. At the time, since the pointer operation signals are not transmitted to a forth control part 14 by the operation of an output inhibition means 12 controlled by the third control part 11, the unrequired movement of a pointer and a clicking operation are inhibited while the instruction of a remote controller is executed by the operation of the pointing device. |
