<p>PURPOSE: To provide a high voltage shield electrode and connections for electric power cables which can be easily reassembled again to a similar structure in a short time without cutting off the cable at both ends of connecting joint, that is, by removing a reinforcing insulating body without making the cable shorter. CONSTITUTION: At the same position of an inner peripheral surface and an outer peripheral surface of a metal cylindrical body 3a in the peripheral direction, conductor splicers are fixed to a high voltage shield electrode 3 having a plurality of grooves (3b, 3c, 3d and 3e) formed in axial direction and also to the end portions of two cable conductors; in a state that the tip portions of conductor splicers are butted, fixation is performed at the central portion of a reinforcing insulating body with the high-voltage shield electrode 3 arranged with an inner conductor joint in advance, and electric conduction is set between the conductors of both the cables at this connection for the power cable.</p> |
