<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cope with the increase/decrease of an amount of production by providing an apparatus for performing a scribing process and a breaking process on the same machine to cut a glass plate, the apparatus which can provide productivity similar to that of a special purpose machine even if used for a single process for scribing or breaking and requires only a small installation area. <P>SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with a table 10 which can be positioned for movement in the direction of moving a glass plate and for turning around a vertical shaft located at the center of a table surface, many adsorption holes 11 provided on the table surface of the table, a cushion sheet 13 for mounting the glass plate placed on the table surface, a gate-shaped frame 14 provided so as to stride over the table 10, a scribing device 2 provided on the upstream side of the glass plate of the gate-shaped frame in the moving direction, and a breaking device 3 provided on the downstream side of the glass plate of the gate-shaped frame in the moving direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
