<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head for drum which can surely discharge the air remaining between films to the outside, reduces the transmission loss of vibrations and provides good sound quality. <P>SOLUTION: The head 1 for drum is constituted of two sheets of laminated synthetic resin films 2a and 2b formed to the same size. A small hole 6 for letting out the air remaining between the films is formed at the center of the film 2b on the rear surface side. The films 2a and 2b are stretched outward in a diametral direction when the head 1 for the drum is supported and strained at the opening rim of a shell body 1, by which the films are closely joined to each other.
