COMPOUND SEMICONDUCTOR GLASS, OPTICAL DEVICE WITH IT, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide which has large refractive index differences, a compound semiconductor in an expected position and a multidimensional structure consisting of one, two, and three dimensional structures, glass which has at least either photonic crystal or nonlinear optical area, an optical device element with it and an easy method for manufacturing them.

SOLUTION: This method is characteristic of the relative displacement of a convergent point by the convergent irradiation of the compound semiconductor glass and pulse laser having the compound semiconductor consisting of more than two kinds of element in an expected position of the glass continuously and cyclically.
