PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately cope with feeding of glass pipes having different diameters even if an adjustment of height position of a press member is not carried out. SOLUTION: The glass pipe feeder is provided with a conveying base 1 for transferring the glass pipe; a stopper 2 for alternately carrying out feeding of the glass pipe from the conveying base 1 and stopping of the feeding; a press member 5 for pressing the glass pipe 8 from above so as to inhibit movement of the second glass pipe 8 from the leading glass pipe 8; and a driving member 4 driven so as to lift this press member 5. The leading glass pipe 8 is fed to a subsequent step by releasing the stopping of feeding of the glass pipe 8 by the stopper 2 in the state that the press member 5 presses the second glass pipe 8. An elastic member 7 relatively upwardly escaping the press member 5 against the driving member by elastically deforming after a lower end surface of the press member 5 is butted to the glass pipe 8 by descending of the driving member is interposed between the driving member 4 and the press member 5.
