A graphics processing apparatus including graphics processing parts (11,12) for performing image processing operations to output image data; a buffer (13) for storing the image data outputted by the graphics processing parts; a display interface (14) for transferring the image data stored in the buffer to a display device (18); and a clock control part (15) for supplying clock signals to the graphics processing parts, buffer and display interface; wherein the clock control part supplies the clock signals to the display interface only while the display interface transfers the image data stored in the buffer to the display device.
