<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make each sounding body sound independently at arbitrary timing, to enable excellent sounding by stable and sure sounding operation, and to enhance the degree of freedom of design. <P>SOLUTION: Rotary picks 46 are arranged nearby tip parts of comb-tooth- shaped reeds 48 corresponding to the reeds 48. A thrust-up member 45 made of metal, etc., is fitted to a free end part 43a of a swing arm 43. Each pick 46 is formed of a metallic thin plate almost circularly, has a plurality of driving claws 46a formed integrally at its outer circumferential part, and can be rotated by a ratchet 53 substantially in one direction. When the arm 43 rotates upward, the thrust-up member 45 engages the driving claw 46a of the pick 46 and is rotated. Then the driving claw 46a at a position symmetrical with the drawing claw 46a engaging the thrust-up member 45 picks the tip of the reed 48. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
