<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflector for preventing brightness irregularity due to distorsion in the case that the reflector is excellent in durability at high brightness and further the distortion occurs on the reflector, and to provide a side light type back light device incorporating the reflector, and a liquid crystal display. <P>SOLUTION: In the reflector comprising at least a substrate and a reflective layer, a rate of a diffusion reflectance (diffusion ratio) to an entire reflectance is 1-50%, a thermal contraction rate of the substrate at 80°C is 0.5% or less, and a tension elastic modulus is 2000 MPa or greater. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
