PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound having high bactericidal activity on various pathogenic bacteria and having high insecticidal/miticidal activity, thus useful for controlling pests, and to provide a pest-controlling agent comprising the compound as an active ingredient. SOLUTION: The compound is a pyrazolecarboxamide of general formula (I) (wherein, R1is a 1-5C alkyl; R2is a 1-5C alkyl, 1-5C haloalkyl or 1-5C alkoxy; R3is H or a 1-3C alkyl; R4is a 1-5C alkyl, 1-5C haloalkyl or halogen atom; R5is an alkyl, haloalkyl, alkoxy, haloalkoxy or the like; m is an integer of 0-4; n is an integer of 1-5; p is 0 or 1; and X is H, a 1-3C alkyl, 1-3C alkoxy or halogen atom).
