HERBICIDAL COMPOSITION AND METHOD OF WEEDING WITH THE SAME

A herbicidal composition which comprises a combination in a specific proportion of: ingredient (A) which is 2-[(4,6-dimethoxypyrimidin-2-yl)hydroxymethyl]-6-methoxymethyl-N-difluoromethanesulfonylanilide; with ingredient (B) which is any of fifteen compounds including 4-(2-chlorophenyl)-N-cyclohexyl-N-ethyl-4,5-dihydro-5-oxo-1H-tetrazole-1-carboxamide. None of the fifteen compounds has been used in combination with the compound of ingredient (A). When applied to a paddy field in a specific dose, the herbicidal composition shows excellent herbicidal activity against various weeds growing in paddy fields. The phytotoxicity thereof to paddy plants is extremely low.
