PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively unfold an air bag in the cabin even when the action of air bag covers is interrupted caused by, for example, the deformation of the side part of a vehicle or the like. SOLUTION: In relation to air bag covers 30, an auxiliary opening part 33 having a required opening area is formed on the tip side in the unfolding direction A of an air bag 20. The auxiliary opening 33 is opened or closed with the oscillation of a lid bodies 34. The lid bodies 34 are provided respectively on the upper end parts of the air bag covers 30, and swingably supported on the air bag covers 30 through hinge parts 35. When the oscillation of the air bag covers 30 is interrupted, and a required opening due to the oscillation of the air bag covers 30 is not formed, the lid bodies 34 are oscillated due to the expansion of the air bag 20 to open the auxiliary opening part 33. |
