<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily find a necessary key and to operate the key without an error by changing the display form of the key, reflecting the actual working condition of the user. <P>SOLUTION: This operating key device has a display screen 1 for displaying a key image, and a touch panel 2 placed over the screen to allow the key image to be seen through and having a detection region for detecting key pressing operation by the user, corresponding to the key image, and accepts operational input from the user from the key displayed on the screen. The key operated by the user is discriminated by a selected key discriminating mechanism 11, and the operation frequency of each key is counted by a frequency counter 13. When the count value exceeds the threshold set to a table 14, the key concerned is enlarged, deformed, changed in color, or the like to change the display form so as to be conspicuous among the other keys. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
