<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that easily matches printing accuracies on a surface and a back in a both-sided print mode regardless of the structure of the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus having a surface/back adjustment mode for adjusting printed states of images on the surface and back of recording paper, a control part 30 for controlling image formation reads adjustment patterns on the front and back of the recording paper, printed by an image printing means 32 after output from the adjustment pattern output means, by the use of the document image reading means 33 and corrects an image printing position and magnification for the back so as to match an image printing position for the surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
