PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a batch polymerization reaction capable of removing reaction heat in single or multiple number of polymerization vessels by less refrigerating capacity without having a large capacity cold water buffer tank for preventing the sudden temperature change of a heating medium or reinforcing the refrigerating capacity. SOLUTION: This temperature-controlling system performing heat supply and heat removal in the batch polymerization reaction is equipped with a device for discharging a heating medium to the outside of a cooling system, and a batch polymerization reaction system by utilizing the device is also provided.
