PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting device for connecting a connected member to a panel in a direction different from that of the width of the panel while facilitating manufacturing of the connecting device and materializing various connection forms without damaging a panel element. SOLUTION: A structural frame body A1 comprises a pair of right and left vertical frame members A2, a plurality of upper and lower horizontal frame members A31 and an intermediate horizontal frame member A32, and a first panel PA has panel bodies PA' on the front and rear sides of the structural frame body A1; each of the panel bodies PA' being mounted with vertical panel elements A4 leaving a gap ASL between the panel elements A4. The connecting device T comprises a connector TM having a base part T1 and a projecting part T2, and an upper end side connector TU. The base part T1 is fitted to the intermediate horizontal frame member A32 to move its position in a right and left direction in relation to the intermediate horizontal frame member A32. The projecting part T2 projects from the surfaces of the panel elements A4 through the gap ASL formed between the panel elements A4 to extend in right and left direction so as to engage with a vertical frame member C2. The upper end side connector TU comprises a fixing member T3 on the side of the first panel PA for fixing itself to the first panel PA, and a fixing member T6 on the side of the vertical frame member for fixing itself to the vertical frame member C2.
