PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the connection-section structure of a steel structure being economical and having excellent accuracy and superior workability. SOLUTION: A square steel pipe by a cold molding is used for a column 2, and a plurality of thick plates are combined in connection-section members 4, and the connection-section members 4 are molded in a prismatic shape having the same cross section as the column 2. Tabular side plates 5 are paired and arranged horizontally on both side faces of upper-lower each flange in the vicinity of end sections on the sides joined with the connection-section members 4 of beams 3, and the side plates 5 and the side faces of the flanges are fixed mutually through a fixing means such as a welding. The beams 3 are fixed onto the connection-section members 4 by the fixing means such as the welding so that end faces on the sides where the side plates 5 are installed are abutted against the outer peripheral surfaces of the members 4. The connection-section members 4 are connected continuously in the vertical direction so as to be coaxial with the column 2, and fixed by the fixing means such as the welding. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
