<p>The invention concerns a method and an installation for filtering liquid media, in a completely immersed filtering mass (MF), having a height (h), forming a channel and which consists in injecting raw water (EB) at one end (E), of said channel and at the surface of the filtering mass and extracting the treated water (ET) substantially at the other end (S) of the channel, the injection (E) and the extraction (S) sites generating at the surface of the filtering mass a liquid layer (N) capable of a horizontal motion (F1) from (E) towards (S); producing along the channel, a succession of (n) recycling loops to generate in the filtering mass a succession of (n) mutually adjacent columns (Cn) so as to generate between the intake and the exit of the liquid a general spiralling movement.</p> |
