A device for signalling between vehicles is provided, having a transmitter for mounting in a cab of the vehicle and for transmitting a wireless, message-initiating signal. A remote unit is also provided for receiving the wireless, message-initiating signal and a display for displaying a message in response to the signal. The device is adapted to be moved with a driver from vehicle to vehicle. The message will generally be THANK YOU, in English or any other language appropriate to the country where the device is in use. The device may be powered from internal batteries or the electrical supply of the vehicle. <IMAGE>
