Chuck

The chuck has a cylindrical base portion (1) with a central bore (2) and three guide grooves (3) for clamping jaws (4), spaced 120 degrees apart. There is a central bush (5) which fits into the aperture and may have a closed base. It has three flanges (7) projecting in a triangular arrangement between the clamping jaws. It has grooves to accommodate the jaws and through bores (9) for fastening screws.
