PURPOSE: A server for providing a sound analysis service through a wireless data communication network, a mobile communication terminal therefor, and a method for providing the sound analysis service are provided so that a consumer inexpensively and simply receives various sound analysis services through the wireless data communication network without buying a new device. CONSTITUTION: A data communication unit(31) transmits and receives data through a wireless data communication network(2). A database(35) stores basic data for analyzing sounds. A data processing unit(33) receives sound analysis mode information and sound data from the data communication unit(31), processes the received sound data, and compares the processed sound data with data corresponding to sound analysis mode information among information stored in the database(35). The data processing unit(33) decides the characteristic of the sound data, and transmits decided characteristic information of the sound data through the data communication unit(31). |
