PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand the range of the variable wavelength of laser oscillation light in a solid state laser device having the structure where the wavelength of laser oscillation light can be changed continuously. SOLUTION: A solid state laser device of compound resonator structure is provided with main resonators 6 and 7 and auxiliary resonators 9 and 10. A spectral element 9 is not included in the main resonator 6 and 7. The solid state laser device is provided with a coupling mirror 7 of which spectral reflection index is minimal at or around the wavelength (840nm), at which the cross section area of stimulated emission of the laser light generated in Cr:LiSAF crystals 5 is maximal. The spectral reflection index of the coupling mirror 7 becomes larger as the wavelength is shifted further from the wavelength as specified above. |
