PURPOSE: An international telephone service system using telephone rooms is provided to install a PC-combined gateway building an extensible originating gateway therein, and to connect a general phone and a cellular phone with ports, then to connect to an Internet network, thereby connecting 24 telephones with one PC to the maximum. CONSTITUTION: A computer network has an ACR(Automatic Call Router) function, performs a billing function in accordance with call duration, inquires about call charge details in real time, and collects call details on monthly basis. An originating gateway(20) resolves ununiform points of media, and compresses voice signals. An interface device transmits the voice signals to an Internet network(40) by using a dedicated line or an ADSL fixing IP. A gatekeeper(50) processes whether to authenticate a user, and issues a receiving gateway address. A billing system(60) performs a billing function by recording the call details, and transmits a telephone bill. A receiving gateway(70) relays a call by receiving the call in an exchange.
