The invention refers to a humidity sensor which operates on the principles of electrical conduction. The sensor is made up of the collagen membrane (1) (a dielectric highly sensitive to humidity) and the electrodes (2, 3) which are mounted on the two sides of the membrane, or the electrodes (8, 9) created by depositing metal on only one side of the membrane (7). These electrodes can point out the modifications of resistivity or electrical conductivity in the collagen membrane.
