The invention refers to a hydraulic mechanism for orienting the nosewheel of an aircraft, provided with a linear hydraulic motor whose body induces the rotation motion of the mobile part of the undercarriage leg by means of a support to which it is fastened in its middle part by a ball joint. The bilateral rod of the hydraulic motor is fixed at both ends to a support which is connected in its middle part by ball joints to the fixed part of the front undercarriage leg.
