The machine tool (24b) has a tool holder (118b) for the tool (40b) with drive motor and torque coupling (184b). The drive coupling, between the motor and the tool, is remote from the drive motor and close to the tool. The reduces the total bearing moment of the drive side and the parts connected to it so that the tool rotates more efficiently at high speeds.
