METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURE OF ABRASIVE TOOLS

FIELD: abrasive industry; manufacture of polishing and grinding wheels on vulcanite binder. SUBSTANCE: method includes rolling of abrasive mass into plates, cutting circular blanks from plates, stacking the blanks on mandrel of lower moulding plate and packing the stack by subsequent pressing each cut blank to previous one; stacking and pressing are effected by one stroke of punch. Device for realization of this method contains upper moulding plate, ring with lower moulding plate movably built in it. Lower moulding plate is provided with mandrel. Upper moulding plate is made in form of cutting punch. Ring and mandrel are sectional in construction. Upper part of ring is made in form of detachable die for cutting circular blank over outer diameter; upper part of mandrel is made in form of detachable insert for cutting the inner hole in blank. Inner diameter of ring exceeds inner diameter of detachable die and outer diameter of upper insert of mandrel exceeds diameter of mandrel. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 cl, 3 dwgn
