An electrically conductive composition, able to become superconductive at cryogenic temp. consists of an alloy of Cu and Nb, containing at least 0.02 wt. % Nb comprising a Cu-rich phase and a second, Nb-rich, phase dispersed in the first phase matrix. The matrix may form a connected system of filaments which is continuously electrically conductive. The superconductive temp. degree K varies as a function of wt. % Nb.
|
