The tool has a drive shaft (1) rotated by the motor selectively coupled with a driven shaft (2) connected to the rotary tool, the safety brake (6) having a first part supported by the frame (9) of the tool and a second axially sliding part cooperating with the driven shaft.The torque coupling (12,13) between the drive shaft and the driven shaft has an angled plane (10) providing the axial displacement for operation of the safety brake when the drive is disengaged.
