<p>Back of the tape bears an adhesive which can be activated for fixing to a fabric. The adhesive is protected in storage by a removable strip. The adhesive is longitudinally placed on the tape in at least two tracks of const. width and clear edges. It can easily be unstuck before treatment, but gives a washproof bond after treatment. Pref. the adhesive is a polymer solution in mixed solvents, and contains ethyl acetate. The tape is of polyester yarn.</p> |
