PURPOSE: A noise filter assembly for a washing machine is provided to arrange parts conveniently, and to protect parts against water in the washing machine by mounting first and second power cord housings, lead wire housings, a ferrite core and a fuse in the substrate and electrically connecting. CONSTITUTION: A noise filter assembly is composed of a case(64) mounted in a top cover of a washing machine and opened in the lower part; a substrate contained in the case; first and second power cord housings combined with the substrate and connected to power cords(62); first and second lead wire housings mounted to the substrate and connected to lead wires(69); a fuse(70) mounted to the substrate to control over power; and a ferrite core(76) mounted to the substrate to remove noise. Inflow of water is prevented by improving waterproofing efficiency with coating the substrate with the coating agent. |
