PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for measuring distance by using a wireless signal are provided to form easily a distance measurement device by using an existing wireless signal detection device. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring distance by using a wireless signal includes a transmitting signal generation portion(101), an antenna portion(103), a frequency difference calculation portion(102), and an operation portion(105). The transmitting signal generation portion(101) generates the first signal as a triangular signal. The antenna portion(103) transmits the first signal and receives the second signal as a reflective wave. The frequency difference calculation portion(102) generates the frequency difference information by calculating a frequency difference between the first signal and the second signal. The operation portion(105) generates the distance information of a target which reflects the first signal by using the frequency difference information and the frequency gradient information of the triangular signal.
