PURPOSE: A method for retrieving a telephone number in a mobile communication terminal is provided to simplify a telephone number retrieval procedure by displaying all telephone numbers capable of connection, which are stored in the latest call list, on the latest call list picture by one input of a retrieval key. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication terminal displays the latest call list retrieval picture(S101,S102). If the user selects a desired calling object on the latest call list retrieval picture by using a directional key, the mobile communication terminal judges a kind of an inputted menu(S103). If the kind of the inputted menu is a retrieval menu(S104), the mobile communication terminal displays all information capable of connection, which is registered in a telephone directory of the selected object(S105). The mobile communication terminal connects a call to one telephone number selected by the user(S106).
