PURPOSE: A device for feeding a lubricant of a roller chain is provided to automatically feed the lubricant to the inside of the roller chain while the roller chain engages with a sprocket, to lengthen the life span of the roller chain, to prevent a break down of the roller chain, and to improve productivity by the elongated feeding period. CONSTITUTION: A device for feeding a lubricant of a roller chain(2) comprises rollers(2a), pins, and links. The device for feeding the lubricant is installed between driven and driving sprockets to transmit power to the roller chain. The device for feeding the lubricant of the roller chain includes a feeding unit(10) supplying the lubricant whenever the rollers and contacting units(11) come in contact with each other; a position adjustment unit(30) adjusting the contacting degree of the rollers and the contacting units; and a supply unit(50) supplying the lubricant. The feeding unit has a rotating body rotating unidirectionally and the contacting units are mounted to the outer surface of the rotating body. The position adjustment unit adjusts the contacting degree of the rollers and the contacting units by moving a support base(19) rotatably supporting the rotating body, to the roller chain side. The supply unit communicates with the rotating body, through a hose member(52), and has a supply pump(53) filled with the lubricant. |
