PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which enables the simple printing of an image imaged by an electronic camera even in the absence of a personal computer, a printing system and an electronic camera. SOLUTION: The printer 12 is equipped with a port part 15 where a digital camera 11 is loaded, a detector for detecting that the digital camera is loaded on the port part, a transfer part for transferring image information recorded by the electronic camera on the basis of a detecting signal of the detector from the digital camera, and a printer unit for printing out transferred image information.
