PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder that suppresses change of quality of an image on a recording medium due to settling of a pigment ink, and an ink cartridge. SOLUTION: A main control section 46 performs correction of a head ejection driving voltage for a head driving section 50 through an ejection driving control section 49 based on an optimum control pattern which is determined by a control judging section 46d by using a pause term of the recorder calculated by a calculating section 46b and information about a cause of fluctuation of the recording density along with the progress of consumption of the ink including the pause term.
