PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a fold section supplying suitability by improving slipperiness of a fold section at a supply time by preventing a fold section surface to be supplied from being contaminated due to rubbing of the surface of the section. SOLUTION: A feeder for a bookbinder comprises a fold section supply base 1 for horizontally mounting the fold section in a substantially horizontal direction, a receiving/delivering cylinder 5 having a gripper 6 at a lower side of a front end of the base 1, a gathering means provided at the lower side of the cylinder 5 to endlessly feeding. In this apparatus, the fold section on the base 1 is supplied one by one to the gathering means. The apparatus further comprises a supply auxiliary plate 15 having an oblique surface inclined obliquely down of the substantially tangential direction of the cylinder 5 at a front end and provided on an upper surface of the base 1.
