<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve fountain-type hydroponics overcoming difficulty of breathing by roots which is a demerit of conventional hydroponics by a shape near to nature because in the natural posture, a usual plant such as a vegetable spreads the roots into culture soil to support the dead weight, and many actual plants are in symbiotic relationship with microorganisms in the ground (in the rooting zone). <P>SOLUTION: A culture soil subjected to an aseptic treatment, or a culture soil subjected to the aseptic treatment and inoculated with only specific symbiotic microorganisms is used as a supporting material for supporting the plant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
