<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tissue adhesive which is made of an inexpensive raw material showing no toxicity and forms a hardened matter having the same degree of flexibility as the living soft tissue and degraded quickly within an organism after the healing of a wound without producing a toxic degraded substance. <P>SOLUTION: Physiological saline containing 40 weight percent of dissolved gelatin and physiological saline containing 1 weight percent of dissolved polyethyleneimine with a molecular weight of approximately 10,000 are prepared in two separate syringes. While two solutions are mixed to constitute a mixing ratio of 10:1, the mixed solution is applied to a circular trepanned wound formed on the liver surface of a rat, and the trepanned wound is left unattended for one minute. Then, bleeding from the trepanned wound stops, and washing the wound with physiological saline hardly causes the separation.
