<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for transporting ammoniac nitrogen included in waste water or treated waste water in an easily handleable state to a facility for utilizing ammonia so as to use the ammoniac nitrogen for denitration of waste gas. <P>SOLUTION: The ammoniac nitrogen included in waste water or treated waste water is released as gaseous NH<SB>3</SB>by ammonia stripping, the gas is collected in an aqueous solution of a lower carboxylic acid to obtain an aqueous solution of lower carboxylic acid ammonium, which is then transported to the facility for using ammonia and used to denitrate waste gas containing nitrogen oxides. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
